PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
MolaStar Cell fenders are best employed for small or large vessels where
Reaction Force is an important criteria. Among all types of
fenders, Cell fenders offer minimum reaction per ton-meter energy
absorbed. The very geometric shape gives it sturdiness, shear
resistance, compact structure and the capacity to absorb energy
equally from all directions. The Cylindrical buckling column
absorbs axial loads effectively and buckles radially. This results
in multi-directional dispersion of energy. Cell fenders are the
most durable rubber fenders available and are currently the largest
moulded fenders made. 2000-2500 mm high cell fenders are typically
used for LNG berths. In order to distribute the reaction force,
cell fenders are typically supplied with large fender panels, which
keeps the hull pressure low.
Rubber fenders applicable in all kinds of shipbuilding, harbor
construction, and maritime transportation are of different types
like shearing, compressive, pneumatic, hydraulic, rotary, and
foam-floating, super cone, cylinder, tug boat, tug-D-type, delta D,
square and corner rubber fenders. All of these fenders can further
be designed with different specifications and can also be
customized as per customers' needs.

SPECIFICATION :
► With an impingement plate at the head part, the supper cell
rubber fender generates small reaction force on vessel body.
According to customers' demands, the reaction force on vessel body
can be 25 tons/m2 or less, making the marine fender ideal for large
sized vessels.
► With high energy absorption and reaction force, the SC marine
fender is especially suitable for use on dolphin wharfs.
► As compared with its counterparts, the supper cell rubber fender
has smaller oblique compression deformation.
